BREAKTHROUGH Vision
Ephesians 3:20-21 (NIV) 20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Breakthrough: a divine moment when God’s power, purpose, and timing intersect to bring sudden spiritual, personal, or corporate advancement that was previously impossible.
2 Samuel 5:20 (NIV) So David went to Baal Perazim, and there he defeated them. He said, ‘As waters break out, the Lord has broken out against my enemies before me.’ So that place was called Baal Perazim.
Micah 2:13 (NIV) The One who breaks open the way will go up before them; they will break through the gate and go out. Their King will pass through before them, the Lord at their head.
Breakthrough is when God opens what man cannot and moves what’s been stuck.

Vision: a God-given revelation that provides direction, alignment, and faith for the future He desires to build through His people.
Proverbs 29:18 (KJV) Where there is no vision, the people perish…
“CHAZON”
Without God’s revealed direction, people lose purpose and restraint.
Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NLT) 2 Then the Lord said to me, “Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. 3 This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.
Acts 2:17 (NIV) 17 “ ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
Vision is seeing with faith what God wants before it happens.

Spiritual and numerical growth happen when the Word of God and service expand.
Acts 9:31 (NIV) Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened. Living in the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers.

Breakthrough begins when we believe God for more than what we see.

3 Keys to Breakthrough Vision:
1. Breakthrough Vision starts with God’s heart.
Proverbs 29:18 (KJV) Where there is no vision, the people perish.
John 5:19 (NLT) The Son can do nothing by himself; he does only what he sees the Father doing.
When you see what God sees, you’ll start doing what God does.

2. Breakthrough Vision requires our partnership.
Nehemiah 2:17–18 (ESV) 17 Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in, how Jerusalem lies in ruins with its gates burned. Come, let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer suffer derision.” 18 And I told them of the hand of my God that had been upon me for good, and also of the words that the king had spoken to me. And they said, “Let us rise up and build.” So they strengthened their hands for the good work.
Vision is never accomplished alone, it’s accomplished when everyone does their part.
God gave the what (the vision), but He invites us into the how (the obedience).

3. Breakthrough Vision demands faith to step forward.
Hebrews 11:1 (NLT) 1Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.
Matthew 14:29 (NIV) 29 “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
You’ll never walk on water if you won’t step out of the boat.

- See what God sees. (Proverbs 29:18)
